We’re delighted to invite you to our School in Action Open Morning on Friday, 7 February at 9.30am. This is a wonderful opportunity to immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of KES Prep, where learning, creativity, and community thrive.

What to Expect:

Meet our enthusiastic pupils and dedicated staff as we open the doors to a normal school day at KES Prep. You’ll have the chance to tour our outstanding facilities and see first-hand the engaging learning environments we offer. Families with younger children are warmly encouraged to bring them along to explore our wonderful Early Years settings and outdoor learning areas.

For Prospective Nursery and Reception Families

Parents and little ones are invited to stay-and-play in our Nursery and Reception classrooms, guided by Jo Humphreys, our Head of Early Years. Experience the joy of learning through play in our vibrant Early Years spaces and meet some of our amazing team.

For Prospective Families of pre-prep

In Pre-Prep, we believe that learning should be fun, exciting, and full of possibilities. Come and see our state-of-the-art facilities, learn about our exciting curriculum, which includes a wide range of subjects, from Music and French to Forest School and Beach School, and meet our experienced staff.

For Prospective Families of LOWER PREP

In Lower Prep, we continue to build on the solid foundation laid in Pre-Prep. Children are challenged with a dynamic curriculum, designed to stretch and inspire them. With specialist teaching in subjects like Drama, PE, French, and Music, each child’s learning experience is rich and varied.

For Prospective Families of UPPER PREP

Discover Upper Prep, where a rich, challenging curriculum and a focus on personal growth guide our pupils to develop independence, confidence, and a love for learning as they prepare for their next steps in education, including our Head's Recommendation for KES Senior. Meet our dedicated teachers, who are passionate about inspiring every child.

Event Schedule:

• 9.30am: Registration and welcome refreshments
• 9.50am: Welcome address from Headmistress, Rebecca Smith
• 10.00am: Tour of the School with Year 5 and Year 6 pupils or Stay and Play in Early Years
• 11.00am: Conclude your morning back in the main house with more refreshments and the chance for further discussions with our team.
