We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, Apprentice Nursery Practitioner to join us during an exciting time of development at our beautiful rural nursery. We are an incredibly friendly and committed team, working in a unique setting with stunning outdoor space and brand new adjoining Early Years Forest school site – Little Meadow.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and helping them thrive, work well within a team, have excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with children, parents, and staff. You will be an integral part of the Nursery Team and must have English and Maths at Grade 4 or above. A basic understanding of early childhood education principles is desirable.

King Edward VI Preparatory School is a warm, welcoming and ambitious school community, seeking an organised and personable Admissions Officer to welcome new families. This is a highly visible and hands on role, where you will be the welcoming face of the school and often the first point of contact for prospective parents. You will guide families through tours, answer questions and help them understand life at KES Prep.
The successful candidate will be warm, approachable, professional and highly organised. You will manage the full admissions journey, from first enquiry to enrolment, ensuring families feel supported. Nurturing enquiries to convert into applications, whilst delivering a gold standard admissions experience is central to the role.
Working closely with the Head of KES Prep, you will also support them with some administrative tasks, including coordinating meetings, handling correspondence and assisting with key events. Discretion, efficiency and good prioritisation are essential.
Ideally, the successful candidate will bring experience from an admissions, sales, or other front-facing role, alongside a good working knowledge of the independent prep school market.
KES Prep is one of two key preparatory schools feeding into King Edward VI School, Southampton, and the successful candidate will therefore contribute to the wider 2–18 pupil journey across the schools. You will work closely with the Marketing and Admissions teams across the group, ensuring strong collaboration between marketing activity, enquiry generation and admissions conversion.

We are looking for a Sports Coach with a particular focus on boys Games, who will join our team of specialist sports staff. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to coach boys Games across our exceptional range of facilities which include Wellington Sports Ground, as well as an onsite sports field, a sports hall and a swimming pool at the prep school.
