A Joyful Morning at KES Prep’s Annual May Fair
On Saturday, 17 May, King Edward VI Preparatory School welcomed families to its much-loved annual May Fair — a celebration of community, creativity and connection that truly captured the spirit of our school. Pupils, families and staff came together to enjoy a vibrant day filled with delicious food and drink stalls, children’s entertainment, arts and crafts, a lively dog show, and much more. As always, it was a highlight of the school calendar and a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our shared achievements.
While the May Fair is a closed event for current families, prospective parents were warmly invited for a personal tour of the school during the morning. Visitors had the opportunity to explore our beautiful grounds and facilities, meet our dedicated staff, and see first-hand what makes life at KES Prep so special.
At KES Prep, we nurture and support every child so they flourish and exceed expectations — not only in their academic learning, but also in their interests, relationships, and emotional development. Our values-led approach ensures each child feels seen, supported and inspired. With small class sizes, a rich co-curricular programme, outstanding pastoral care, and a direct pathway to King Edward VI Senior School through the Head’s recommendation, KES Prep provides an exceptional foundation for life.
We were delighted to welcome so many visitors to the school and to share a joyful May morning with them — full of warmth, connection and pride in all that our pupils achieve.
We do still have limited availability in some year groups and warmly invite interested families to get in touch to discover what makes our school community so special.
