A Supercalifragilistic Performance by Year 6
Our talented Year 6 pupils whisked audiences away to Cherry Tree Lane with their magical production of Mary Poppins — a heart-warming and joy-filled performance that will live long in the memory.
With charm, confidence, and a healthy dose of imagination, the cast brought this beloved story to life through toe-tapping tunes, colourful characters, and polished performances. From Mary herself to Bert, the Banks family and beyond, each role was played with infectious energy and enthusiasm. The singing was, quite simply, supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!
We were delighted to stage this year’s production at the Dobson Theatre, generously hosted by our Senior School, King Edward VI School in Southampton. The professional setting provided the perfect backdrop for our pupils to shine, and we are immensely grateful to the team at KES for their warm support.
A special thank you goes to our KES Prep families, whose encouragement and applause have echoed throughout the rehearsal journey. Whether performing under the spotlight or supporting behind the scenes, every pupil involved should feel incredibly proud.
The production was a joyful celebration of creativity, teamwork, and talent — and a fitting finale to the Year 6 journey at KES Prep.
Bravo to all!
