A Joyful End to the School Year at KES Prep
As the summer term draws to a close, KES Prep has been filled with energy, laughter and the wonderful spirit of community that defines our school. This final stretch of the academic year has seen a series of joyful and uplifting events, including our Reception and Pre-Prep Sports Days, the Lower and Upper Prep Sports Days, and the much-anticipated Lower and Upper Modern Biathlons.
Across all year groups, children have approached these events with determination, enthusiasm and an unwavering willingness to have a go—regardless of whether running or swimming comes naturally to them. In doing so, they have embodied the very best of what it means to be part of the KES Prep family: encouraging one another, celebrating every effort, and thriving through support and teamwork.
From the youngest children proudly crossing the finish line with beaming smiles, to the older pupils cheering each other on in competitive relays and the Modern Biathlon, the atmosphere has been nothing short of inspiring. The resilience shown—especially in the face of new challenges—has been a credit to every child who took part.
These events serve as a beautiful reminder that while not all children may be runners or swimmers, everyone can contribute to the shared success of the day. The true triumph lies not in podium places, but in the laughter, kindness and camaraderie that filled the fields and poolside.
Thank you to the staff for their superb organisation and encouragement, to families for cheering so generously, and most importantly to our pupils, who brought joy, courage and a deep sense of community to every moment.
We couldn’t be prouder of how our year has ended—together, with hearts full and spirits high.
