Our School Christmas Video 2022
This festive season, children from our Preparatory School, KES Prep and Senior School King Edward VI came together to create the much-anticipated 2022 Christmas Video. However, this year our children wanted to demonstrate an important message; to think more sustainably this Christmas.
The mission began to find as much red, brown and white materials that were either recyclable or could be repurposed. Mountains of cardboard, scraps from Textiles, bark from the forest and old clothes from staff were gathered with the brief to create a Christmas favourite, a robin. Nothing new was purchased for the making of this video (not even the hats!). With the help of our wonderful Art departments, our children worked as a team to piece together our Christmas robin on the lawn in front of Highwood House at KES Prep.
