Reception and Pre-Prep Bring the Christmas Story to Life with Magical Nativity Performances
This festive season, the youngest performers at KES Prep brought the Christmas Story to life with two heart-warming Nativity productions.
The Reception children shone in their Nativity, ‘Dance to the Manger,’ showcasing their incredible Performing Arts talent and creativity. From a disco-dancing donkey to ballet-dancing shepherds, ribbon-dancing wise men, and twirling, shining stars, the children brought joy, energy, and sparkle to their performance. Their enthusiasm and dance moves captivated everyone in the audience and filled the room with festive cheer.
Meanwhile, the Pre-Prep children in Years 1 and 2 performed ‘Prickly Hay!’ — a heart-warming Nativity set in the stable, told from the perspective of the stable girls and the animals. Performing in front of family and friends, these young stars displayed confidence, joy, and excitement as they brought the story to life with creativity and spirit.
A huge thank you was extended to all the families who joined KES Prep to celebrate these special festive moments. Their support truly made the performances even more magical.
At KES Prep, Performing Arts is at the heart of the curriculum, with a strong emphasis on fostering creativity, confidence, and collaboration.
