The Pre-Prep department at KES Prep provides the foundation for pupils' education, with learning designed to ignite curiosity and foster a love of learning. In addition to core subjects, children benefit from specialist teaching in Music, Performing Arts, French, PE, and Forest and Beach School. As pupils transition to Lower Prep, the learning journey becomes increasingly challenging and dynamic. One of the distinctive features of KES Prep is its smooth transition to King Edward VI Senior School in Southampton. Pupils who excel in Year 5 are recommended by the Headmistress for progression to the Senior School without the stress of an entrance exam.
